This is a total waste of money – list of 10 places with addresses, no descriptions, no reviews – nothing to go on. Layout is also very amateurish.

|Just back from 2nd trip to Los Cabos,
Just got back yesterday from my second trip to Los Cabos (the entire Cape region on the tip of Baja) in as many years. This is the book that helped me sort out what we wanted to do and where we wanted to go. Last year’s trip we stayed pretty close to our all inclusive resort (Melia Cabo Real), but this year we ventured out on many day trips and activities (sunset cruise out into the Pacific beyond the Arch; sunset horseback ride in the Migrano area; kayaking from Santa Maria Bay to Chilena Bay and then snorkeling; snorkeling and beach day at Playa Amor (Lover’s Beach); S.C.U.B.A. diving at Pelican Rock and Land’s End). This Moon Guide was helpful in figuring out what we wanted to do in advance, but it wasn’t necessary to book any of these trips before going. EVERYONE in Los Cabos works on commissions, so deals can be gotten in person, via the “salespeople” (they are everywhere…three different ones in our resort alone) depending on how much of their commission they are willing to waive that particular day. If you aren’t renting a car that’s OK; many of these activities will provide transportation to and from without any additional charges. Good luck, and have fun in Los Cabos (including Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo, the Corridor, East Cape, Todos Santos, and all points in between (the whole area being no bigger than all of San Diego County in California). Next time we go we will probably venture out even further away from our “home base” (i.e., surfing, S.C.U.B.A. at Cabo Pulma, a day trip to Todos Santos, etc…), and this guidebook will be even more valuable to us.
